We had a few days when the temperature went down to -15C (5F) but not for very long.

The flowers were occasionally covered in snow but that didn't do them any harm.

We call the little ones this size "johnny jump ups" - more violas than pansies. I love them, as they generally seed themselves and it takes a really cold winter to kill them.
