Why does Google always blow their roll out announcements?
#11
I don't get it. Seems like the Google announcement was interesting enough and on top of all that, Google proves they don't really care about any iOS/Android flamewar by demoing on an iPad. Apple fans are mad because Google is offering a nice service for iOS devices? What am I missing?

I think it's the other way around. I think Apple is the one scared to death of being squeezed out. They are the most profitable because of gargantuan carrier fees before they even sell a single phone. They may be winning the profit war, but they long ago lost the "Market Share" war. This is why they're pushing their obsolete 4S and 4's in the "subprime" phone marketplace.

Apple just held HTC hostage with some more patent stupidity trying their hardest to thwart the breakout of HTC's new One X and Evo 4G LTE blockbuster phones. Those phones missed their launch (actually the new Evo) and were delayed while the Trade Commission inspected the phones. HTC did a software workaround and now they're here.

This month the Samsung Galaxy S III will launch so Apple has renewed all patent claims against Samsung and HTC in an effort to slow them up. If Apple would just get off of their stupid butts and put out a trio of competitive phones they would not have to be so fearful.
