Just an educated guess here, but I think the best way to request features is to find an existing phorum mod/addon you want to use and suggest it.

And how does one go about doing that?
Not sure if we're using 5.2 or not, but http://www.phorum.org/phorum5/list.php?62
Thanks. I had no idea that this existed.

That is what I do, but it's a hassle.

That's what I do. I bookmarked a search for my name. Not only does it give me a list of the threads I've participated in, but I can tell at a glance if somebody replied to me.

That would work, however it would not tell you what thread you've posted in, AND when a thread has new posts.

Doesn't work for everyone. A lot of people refer to me as "mav", which is fine, but is another term I have to search for.

I guess a new feature would prove handy. Outside of this forum I don't have a lot of forum experience.

Use that link to tell Brian Moon, not anyone here.

I don't know about the ideas that the OP suggested (don't use Twitter), but I'd like to have email notifications stop with one until you visit the thread.

In all honesty I believe that what we have now is what we will continue to have. The IT guys have a full plate and the forum understandably isn't a priority for them, other than keeping it running. I'm still holding out hope for implementation of a mobile version template that I requested a few months back. There was some interest at the time, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, Larry should give each of us one new of whatever Apple releases!
