Our stationwagon was Olds Custom Cruiser - Seinfeld/SJP video is cute

I enjoyed the video, thanks.

We never had a wagon, but I remember the road trips in the four-door buick and how I used to get car sick. I was the only one of the three kids who did.

My first car was a 1965 Chevy Nova wagon, I was thinking of something to move music equipment in. At the time, I had two 5 watt amps, but i was thinking ahead, lol.

Whoa!

Holy crap. I think I almost (few months ago) bought that car. The guy who was selling it said it had just been used in a promo for Madmen or something.

Ford Country Squire here, with the beautiful wood paneling, lol.

No road trips or rear facing seats.

But it was a pretty cool looking sta-wag.

And that's a great show.

I've always like Sarah, and never got why people like to hate her.

SJP : I have heard of her, but never really saw her work. This CCC episode though was a great little thing, imo. She's cute.

Oh, our Olds had a 455 in it... (take THAT!)

The last GMC product my dad owned was a 1969 Buick Sport Wagon with a 400 CI V8. He got it for towing and it was a terrible car for that purpose. Dad being a stubborn, hothead got in an argument with GM (he was a retiree) and never bought another GM product. He sold it after a couple months, bought a Dodge Polara wagon and never looked back (with the 440 V8 in it, there was no reason too)

Sounds like your dad ordered the wrong combination. Those make great tow cars. Unless you overload them, or balance the trailer poorly. That's on your dad.

We had a '69 Pontiac Safari Wagon. A Bonneville option. Roof rack, that super cool 2 way tailgate, and the rear facing 3rd seat. And the tow package. Super cool road trip sled.

average I suppose. Mom never had chips or soda in the house. That's why. All the fruit we could eat, but you stayed outside until dinner time.
