"All Apps" Adobe Creative Cloud almost up. What are you paying for CC?

I called and asked for the lower price, and they gave it to me.

$50 is just another cost of doing business. Same as a cell phone, internet, dropbox, paper, printer/toner, computers, etc, etc.

If you dont need CC for business, then the alternatives are out there...

However, if you are a die hard photoshop person, the $10 a month photographer bundle is a great thing in my book.

When did they do this for you? They gave me the lower price last year after some haggling with the customer service person. But this morning they did not budge after mentioning that it was too expensive and I was going to cancel.

There was one function that motivated me to move from CS5 to 6 and since the upgrade did not cost me a penny either, I did, but I see no need to whatsoever to support CC churning...

Did they definitely stop selling CS6? Thought you could still order it over the phone. Of course, they will try to sell you something else (CC).

California community colleges (and probably other institutions) have had a deal with Adobe for ages. I chose Washington in the state drop down on the collegebuys website and was able to access the $170 pricing...

Thanks. I was looking at http://www.adobe.com/education/students/...y.edu.html? I'd be buying it with the homeschool qualification. Not sure if I can get it from collegebuys with that.

My experience with Creative Cloud has been that it auto-renews with no option to let it expire on it's own. It's a bit slimy of them to do so, because it auto-renews at a higher (non-promo) price and if you cancel there's a big penalty.
