Those must be the cities where people who follow the teachings of Christ live.

As opposed to "christians," who are that in name only.

NEW: Officials with the Town of West Tisbury are saying right now there are at least 50 people from Texas who have been essentially SHIPPED (flown and left on) to Martha's Vineyard.

Apparently, two more plane loads of people are expected to arrive in the coming days.

This from a WGBH tweet that's not linked. FOX has it as well.

Why is DeSantis shipping people from Texas instead of from Florida? Did Florida run out of shippable people?
As with those on the buses, these were legal immigrants who were in state-custody. Others are in federal custody.

My guess is that the feds have started blocking these kidnappings by taking jurisdiction over more cases and tying things up in the courts so the republican governors are now grabbing whomever they can whenever they can to keep the show going.

Fernandes said residents “jumped into action” to provide 50 beds, meals and health-care support after the group including children was dropped off with “no notice.”

Yeah, because those residents aren’t deplorable.

Meanwhile, regressives keep announcing their hatred of mankind, couched in their permanent (and fake) self-victimhood.

I heard Jesus was, too.

FYI, you don't have to be a christian to be a decent human being, which is what it boils down to.

Exploitation for sure.

This is so sick. The people of MV will do a good job taking care of these people but what an imhumane stunt, not to mention huge waste of public resources.

Why shouldn't Democratic LaLa Lands have to deal with the same problems their ritzy residents expect border towns to deal with? :dunno:

Our average-sized state of Minnesota (another “Democratic LaLa land” in a sea of Red) has the largest population of Hmong refugees (Laotian mountain people that supported us in the Vietnam war) as well as Somalis in the US. Also increasing numbers of latinos, Tibetans, Karen, and other groups.

When people flee for their lives and arrive destitute, we step up.

What do Florida and Texas do?
