I've got to vent:( I raced to FedEx on Friday, but Apple didn't get the tracking info until today. No Mac Pro in sight-g

I did call him, but got his voicemail and I've not heard from him since.

I ended up calling the regular Apple support # and speaking to a new tech support person, who found the info that they had just received the FedEx tag # and that my replacement would be shipped, "whenever."

Except that after a year of hassle, I finally got a Product Specialist who was willing to replace my G5, Apple's service has sucked.

The "good news" is that I finally reached the Product Replacement rep and he had received my G5 shipping info on Friday after all.

The "kind of good news" is that my Mac Pro is considered BTO (because the Product Specialist kindly added Airport Extreme, a wireless keyboard and Mighty Mouse and a USB modem to the basic system), so it has to come from Shanghai and will take 4-6 days.

At least I now have tracking info and I have my fingers crossed that the replacement will arrive by Friday.

I'm really jazzed about the upgrades,which is why I can hardly wait, haikuman,

I never expected this result after all the frustration they put me through.

I will certainly post in caps when it arrives.

I do have one issue which I imagine the instruction manual will explain clearly. That is, which slots do I install the extra four X 1 GB modules of OWC RAM in?

It appears that there are two tiers to install memory in. My next challenge

FedEx, please bring my Mac Pro by Friday, PLEASE!
