Happy Thanksgiving!
#11
Happy Turkey day, everyone. I won't be home, but I was invited to two different dinners from coworkers. I'm going to both, so this should be interesting. To make things more interesting, one of the two coworkers has decided that everything to be eaten must begin with the letter "G". (Do not ask me why! Big Grin )

Yes, he made a point of telling me: we're having goose, not turkey.

Guess what I'm bringing for dessert? Wink ... hint, there are really only two common desserts I could think of that begin with the letter G, and I was only able to find one of the two to buy today (I didn't have time to make something myself...)

LOL ... very amusing suggestions, but I'm afraid I ended up with the old standby: German chocolate cake. I wanted gingerbread, but there wasn't any at the market when I went today. Gelato and green tea/garlic ice cream, dang, that's what I would have wanted instead, since I can't eat the chocolate.

And yes, I would guess gumbo will be on the menu. As well as Gruyère, gazpacho, goulash...

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I'm fairly new to this site and haven't posted much yet but I
love it here. This is the first place I head to every morning.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

Now I'm off to work.

Just wish I wasn't working so I could watch the Packers-Lions game.

Go Pack!
