I feel better, since Biden is so intelligent ..... You guys are worried about Palin ....

Although I am sure these sort of statements hurt a bit in a campaign, I am not sure how mission critical this stuff is to being president. His overall point, to the extent I have bothered to pay attention to it, was that FDR helped get the American people out of the depression by leveling with them during his fireside chats (on the radio). There is some clear historical truth to that, and his point about the inadequacies about the current administration are well taken.

Reagan was a gaffe a week too. And even though I and every other liberal hated him, he was probably objectively a pretty effective president for most of his terms.

Now a month later, there is no indication at all that Sarah Palin is even remotely prepared to be president, and it is highly doubtful that anything is going to change to make her meet that (very high) standard.

LOL!! I'd put Palin up against both Biden and UmmBama at the same time with one hand tied behind her back in any debate. Just keep underestimating her intelligence. It does my heart good.

On what basis do you rate her intelligence highly?

Seriously - I want an answer to this one. Please give me reason to increase my estimation of Ms. Palin's intelligence.

Bring her on tomorrow night and let John stay in Washington waiting for a telegram

Did you even see the Katie Curic interview ? She was clueless.

Wow, that would be ugly (for Palin).

I second the request for the basis of this statement. I guess that she will answer questions with her vast intelligence and her long history of foreign-affairs knowledge later?

Here we go with all the lame excuses for him .....for being around for so long, he ought to know better than some of the things he says and does .......

I am not defending Biden, as he has said things that make me cringe. But there is lame and there is LAME and Palin is the latter. Compared to Palin, Biden is a GENIUS.

I'm intitled to my opinion.. I don't have to explain anything to you. At least she knows there are 50 not 57 states.

But I'm just sick of UmmBama TALKING... talk, talk, talk. When has he EVER done anything important? He is the product of the Chicago political machine. When he was a state Senator, he voted "present" so many times it became a joke. If I didn't know better, I'd say he walks around with his finger up his butt, but I know it's up in the air testing the wind.

So far no one has come up with a defense for Palin besides "Biden's no Einstein either." Greg asked a direct question. Tell him why he should rate Palin's intelligence highly. Anyone want to take a whack at it?
