I was quite young in the 70s, but I remember it being just referred to as "4-day week" or "3-day week". A somewhat bizarre expression when you have no concept of what is meant by it.

part time full time ?

FWIW - Underemployment is the term used by various government agencies to describe
people that are working part time because thay are unable to secure full time work. It is also
used to describe skilled workers unable to get employment at the same pay level for which
their training would normally provide.

part part time is aka "freelancing"
