Hey Guys, we made it through the storm but have no power.

Sorry David, I actually did think of you, right after I posted. Sad I should have edited, but I was still in a fog, and on dial-up. Boy do I need a nap. Glad to hear everything is OK with you. I just finished a cup of coffee so maybe I will be a little more alert.

There was a large car wash somewhere in the Alpharetta area that was destroyed, but I can't place exactly where. I went out in the back yard and just a lot of leaves and stuff thank goodness nothing major.

I'm sure glad they got the power back on. It was out for 5 hours and for us that is a lot. Most stuff where we live is underground, but just up the road they still have overhead wires, so it was probably a tree or maybe a transformer blew.

Feed Bun Bun! A pssd off cat does not make for a fun life. Also why do you keep canned food in the frig?

BunBun and Boo have been fed. They only eat about 1/4 of a can in the morning, so I put the rest of it in the fridge. They like the first day the best, but they won't eat a whole can, so I have to refrigerate it. BunBun is looking out the window as I type. She is much happier now that the bad weather is over, as am I.

Yes, Mike, I am sooo glad that I have a good battery now. B)

The inside joke is, that after Mike's wife's iBook died, I bought his nearly new OWC battery to replace my "down to only 45 minutes of charge" battery that came with my iBook. Thanks again Mike.

Follow up:
Well I went out earlier and, let me just say, we were very lucky at our house. Not but a few miles from here, there are houses and businesses that were heavily damaged or destroyed. There are many roads closed because of downed trees, some huge old Oaks uprooted, and power lines. Again, we were really fortunate and next time I'll be heading to the basement a lot sooner.

I'll also be going to the Radio Shack very soon and aquiring a weather radio that works off batteries. I wonder if they have a USB weather radio? :}

Glad to hear you are okay!

Here in the Plains, we live with the threat of tornadoes from now until late summer. I have been fortunate to see a few funnel clouds in the sky and no tornadoes on the ground.

It looks like it is going to be a very busy season for severe weather.

I hope you got those free panties down from the clothesline. Otherwise Fred the old guy down the street will have to explain to the old battleaxe Gladys why there are sequined thongs in the back of his Dodge Dakota.

The panties came through the storm just fine. You really do need to change that shirt, you know.
