POLL: What is your current Internet Speed?
#21
Just installed SB6190, had to call comcrap to activate, what a PITA!

Old TP-Link: 250/7
Arris SB6190: 352/12

Comcast claims service will be bumped to 400-15 within a month as they're
running hybrid-fiber cable closer to the drop.
$50/month

tuqqer, do you have a monthly data cap?

No, except perhaps that hidden paragraph that says there's a limit.

speedof.me says (server = Chicago 3)

25.71 Mbps down
2.56 Mbps up
42 ms ping

Spectrum in Augusta, ME

plenty fast for us; 10x faster than the DSL service I had on PEI, and 1/2 the price.

FiOS 100/100. It varies. Sometimes 85/100.

I'm a little embarrassed to post that.

As I'm on att, LTE any much better at home.

Ok, the up might be.

ATT is running fiber through my front yard (well, between the sidewalk and street) but it will serve a different neighborhood so it does me no good. I am with Spectrum and get about 70 down.

They had hoped to grab the old copper wires and pull it out but that did not work so they ran the drilling machine. Worked just fine until they pulled the very last pipe back out when they nicked my water line. Turns out I have two water lines, one in use an one not. They had located the one not in use and were very surprised when they hit water. About 4:00 on the Friday before Labor Day. Gotta hand it to them. They got it fixed before going home.
