Palin is campaigning for what?

I am a good reporter but I doubt I would be able to get anyone from the RNC or the Putnam campaign to say "Yes, we were snubbing McCain" or
"We did not hand out any McCain signs" because the automatic folo is "Why not?" and then you are back to "We were snubbing McCain."

The reporter saw no McCain signs in the crowd. He was looking for McCain signs in the crowd. He walked around the rally looking for McCain signs in the crowd. He saw none. Therefore there were no McCain signs handed out at the rally. It's pretty simple really. The assumption that any reporter hands out BS is ridiculous. Reporters whose information is faulty do not last long in the business.

It's a good thing neither you nor Karsen followed the link in the original post. You'd have seen a McCain sign right in the picture on the blog and this thread would have fizzled after 3 posts.

I did follow the link. There are "Country First" signs and "Palin Country" signs and some volunteers wearing McCain T-shirts, but there are no McCain/Palin signs.

The image that was there earlier had what was clearly a McCain sign visible at the bottom right edge. It's been removed. I guess it was easier than rewriting the story.

Oh, my gosh, another conspiracy theory! I guess coming up with that was easier than admitting you mistook a t-shirt for a campaign sign? It's an easy mistake to make. No shame in it at all.

The t-shorts were there too. Along with a large McCain sign.
If you saw the t-shirts, you must have seen the sign(?)

This entire thread is further evidence that Tuesday ought to renamed from "Election Day" to "I no longer give a sh!t day". Check this site for posts a month from now.

The Great Neocon Experiment will end Jan 20.

History may repeat itself, but Palin will be long gone by then. I hope I will have been as well.

I think it is amazing and kind of wonderful what men will do and say to avoid saying "whoops, I was wrong."

Agreed. I'm heading out right now to buy a few 1 TB hard drives so I can start screen-shotting everything.
