Clint Eastwood was perfect

I don't know why you folks give a damn that I found Eastwood's performance hilariously bad and want to make fun of it. Is he your relative or something?

I only brought up the "ridicule" part to make the point that Eastwood was ridiculing Obama and I am ridiculing Eastwood. It's the freaking circle of life, get over it.

Did you watch it? Did you see him pretend that the President of the United States was saying "Go fsck yourself"? - $tevie

No kidding. So classy. And did you notice all of the "values voters" eating it up? All of the "do it my way" Christians? I guess it brought up memories of Dick "Go fsck yourself" Cheney. I need a shower.

I'm not making fun of Clint Eastwood as much as I am showing my disgust at the jerks and morons that put him up there. The looks on some of the pasty faces were like they worshipped him. He's a damned actor. It's those people in the audience - the 99.9% pudgy pasty-faced hateful jerks and morons that have joined the billionaire's coup, against their (for some insane reason) own best interests, not to mention their children's and grandchildren's - that I am disgusted with. The idiots that weren't even phased by all the lies. The idiots that are so overcome with their desire to have their wishes met and to hell with everyone else, that they don't even understand that the people pulling the strings are going to screw them over along with everyone else.

I was hoping Trump would be the surprise speaker and look straight into the camera and say, "Barack Obama, YOU'RE FIRED".

I'm sure more than a few folks at the Romney campaign wish they'd gotten Trump instead too.
Guess they worried he'd be unhinged and embarrassing. Ooops.

Well, the rumors are that the RNC is not happy with how it went down, so I think that's the last we'll see of Clint the party booster for a while.

This is the best thing I've read so far about the Eastwood debacle.

"My objection is to the petty and mean ridicule of an elderly man who wasn't quite up to the task..." - Uncle Wig

Spare me. There will 100% positively be a direct connection between a Romney administration and the SUFFERING, BANKRUPTCIES, AND DEATHS of THOUSANDS of elderly men and women and young men and women and children. A direct connection. Don't come crying about poor Clint Eastwood.

>>An old mentally unstable pasty-faced cranky rich white guy who loves guns<<

As opposed to a half-breed, scrawny, two-bit communist who loves subjugating people?

if Eastwood had done that with Mitt in the chair at the Democratic Convention i still would regard it lame. but i might be slightly kinder and think, in the southern tradition, bless his heart - he meant well.

You can see that Ann Romney just loved it.

"I am," I said
To no one there
An no one heard at all
Not even the chair
"I am," I cried
"I am," said I
And I am lost, and I can't even say why
Leavin' me lonely still
