Why are fanny packs now deprecated?

Ummm, the flip belt is not an alternative because it doesn't carry hardly anything. Right on the money!!! The ONLY drawback I see is I can't wear them in the car because seat belts interfere.

Uh, no. We have a guy that works in our building who wears a fanny pack. It looks ridiculous. A lot of people don't know his name, but all you have to do is say, "You know, the guy who wears the fanny pack." And the response is almost always, "Oh, that guy..."
