Seems like any Goodwill store would have a large selection, the ones that millions of us got for Christmas in 2004 and no longer use. If you're in Chicago, I've got one you can come pick up.

freeradical, the advantage over a stand mixer is not having a bunch of wet gloppy stuff to clean up. Mix goes in; bread comes out; machine is ready to use again.
