I like it! (tu)

Nice.
Is it real change, or just a good marketing campaign? Might not matter for the moment.

Its a nice feel good ad, but they could work on their AMI/Domestic Parts Content index.
If Toyota Ford, Chrysler and Honda can employ Americans pre-assembly, Chevy should be able to.

GMs original problem was that they did not have enough buyers. Has that changed?

They've cut production to meet demand at a more realistic measure.
So, while they might not have brought number of buyers up to prior production capacity, it appears they are more in line with 'they have enough buyers' now.

But I don't think it represents any real change.
As mentioned, it's not supposed to, so that's no surprise. It's still early yet, but I think GM has learned a lot and is on the mend. I really hope they do something about car body designs, though. They've been pretty bland for the last few years, and that seldom pumps sales. The new La Crosse gets some good reviews from car critics, "German engineering" or not. They've got a long way to go, but I'm glad they didn't go under.

nice. Gotta love the 'viral' advertising campaign. No need to buy commercial time, or even get full rights to clips (like Popeye, Animal House, ABC news, etc..)
