Guns and Colorado

If you're just passing through the state, then FOPA pre-empts state law.

But if you are a non-Colorodan, and happen to have a 20 round mag for your Ruger 10-22 that you bought after july 1, 2013, and are transporting it through Colorado, you can be arrested, fined up to $1,000, and jailed up to 12 months for having it in your vehicle.

NOPE !!!!! Read it again. And then ask yourself about NYC's handgun law, in place for quite some time. ANYONE bringing a handgun into NYC gets a year in jail. I can drive through NYC on my way to Long Island. I get caught with a handgun, I'm done. There's a lot of cases where this has happened over the years.

[quote=cbelt3]Are you planning on rescinding the second amendment and confiscating all privately held guns, plus house to house searches to find all the illegal guns ?

Works for me!
This from the same person who prefers the populace to roll over in the face of corruption, abuse and domination by the government.

Admitting a fact is hardly rolling over and playing dead.

Perhaps there's something that we missed in the quote?

According to Speedy, she (Carmen Pittman) was "wasting her time" (at the Department of Justice) protesting. Unarmed woman, protesting, is 'neutralized' by a hand-held weapon (taser) before being arrested for doing what is at its very core, the most patriotic thing an American can do.

Combine that attitude with that desire to remove "guns" from everyone and you've left nothing to even thwart the threat of domination (unless people really believe that the American Revolution was won by simply tossing crates of tea into Boston harbor...).

People with the mindset of Speedy aren't the ones who roll over and play dead, they prefer the others to roll over and play dead so that they can take advantage of the others.
