I'd like to get a little something

She's single, pretty

And no, I'm not trying to date her.

Are you certain?

Give the gift that keeps on giving, offer to do chores, especially manly type outdoor things like shovel her driveway in the winter or trim her bushes.

Must. Resist.

I prefer my bushes untrimmed as do many men people. Maybe you could instead offer to wax her Buick??? It is the neighborly thing to do you know...

I have to say, that's where my mind went as soon as I read that.

That's how it starts with next door neighbors...

(Mrs. Buzz started as the girl that moved in next door 24 years ago... two and half years later we were married; choose the wine wisely.)

I'd like to get a little something for my next door neighbor for Christmas, was thinking maybe a decent bottle of white wine, around $20.00. She's single, pretty much keeps to herself, but we speak every few days. Something good in that price range or other suggestions would be welcome.

And no, I'm not trying to date her.

If you have a glass of wine every night you know the difference between a $6 and a $30 bottle of wine.

I've seen her having beer with her friends, so I thought wine would be a way to go. we're in adjoining apartments, so no outside chores that need done. I was going to wrap it up with a card and leave it at her door, mainly to thank her for being tolerant of that nutty musician next door, lol.

I've offered her books before, she says she doesn't read much. Early '30's so pretty computer/phone oriented. She did bring me a plate of holiday food on Thanksgiving.

So... why are you NOT trying to date her, again? :dunno:

Probably too big an age difference to start with. A 33 y.o. redhead would probably kill me.
