From rjmacs link:

"In recent months, emails and other documents have been attached to court filings by the NCAA and the plaintiffs, state Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman and state Treasurer Rob McCord."
...
""The fact of the matter was, an evil predator operated in our community for years and everyone missed it," Corman said. "The NCAA has surrendered. The agreement we reached represents a complete victory for the issue at hand."

---

"Everyone missed it"? Apparently willful blindness continues amongst the politicians.

Not stained for me. He won all those games. They can "remove" them all they want. He still won 'em.

Not to everybody. I think most people want everyone to be a stain. They just don't have a good reason to express it so they lay in wait until something good enough comes along. Then it's off to the races. It's how people are.

Conceptually I'd be OK with erasing any wins got from 1998-on since the office and power was abused and benefitted, but doing so supplies a weird sort of punishment that neither addresses the rapes nor adequately helps opposing teams to have "won" or accomplish anything else really. You just can't jump in time like that.
