help me strike my profile from LinkedIn
#11
LinkedIN has worked well for us. It has been a very good tool for freelancing. That being said, it helps to really set up prefs well. I can see where it can be not as useful if one has a set job.

I deleted my account and according to LinkedIn the profile will no longer be visible nor searchable which to me says that it is still lurking on LinkedIn but nobody can find it. They do say that "We're unable to reopen accounts closed for more than 20 days." but I'm not sure if that's because it is then really truly gone and nonexistent or not. I assume it is dead and gone. https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/63

Thanks. The delete account page for me kept timing out, but I was ultimately successful. although it does the standard "it may take a few weeks for search engines to no longer (display your profile)" or something to that effect.

All I got was requests from print reps who refused to believe I was no longer buying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of printing each year. I got sick of it.
