I can't say I noticed a difference.
Likewise.
But I like 'em just the same, too.

The grilled chicken patty is tasty. I usually get the grilled chicken, bacon, ranch salad. Real bacon, and very well done. I usually sub the dressing to be the Newman's Own Balsamic Vinegar, to keep the carbs low.

I still say that they would make bank if they'd just put a chicken patty between two McGriddle buns and call it a "Chicken and Waffle" breakfast. I'd also like to see a McRib biscuit.
Forgive me. I'm on a diet and craving all kinds of stuff. -M

That, actually, could be genius... Just put some griddle marks on the McGriddle pancakes to simulate waffleness.

I like almost everything McDonald's sells.
But I just can't abide the grilled cakes. I've tried twice, and something just feels wrong about them. I love their hotcakes. I wish the biscuits were a little more durable. It would be great if I could super-size egg sandwiches— just double the egg. My favorite breakfast sandwich is the Sausage Egg McMuffin, when the yoke isn't cooked super-solid. A Chicken-and-Biscuit might be doable. Chicken-and-Gravy Biscuit!

Muffin tops? Thanks, but no.
Mickey D’s is the safe harbor on my fast food map. Almost always there, wherever ‘there’ happens to be, and will get me full and happy without fail. More than a few above them on the favorites list, but great at the job I’ve assigned them. Love their breakfast offerings, but I belong to the (apparently fringe) cult of Jack in the Box. They nail it not only on quality and taste, but variety as well. Then on top of that, you can snag ‘super sized’ versions of a lot of items when you need to bury your angst extra, extra deep. The Jack in the Box of my yoot. First drive thru we’d ever been to. ![]()

I'm also a big fan of everything Jack in the Box, except for their breakfast menu.
For me, it's pretty weak, with the breakfast burrito being the only thing I like. |
