If I could reliably get all the local affiliates OTA in my area, I might cut the cord again. The only fly in the ointment is Comcast is the only decent internet provider in my area, so they’d still get some of my coin.

Biggest problem for me is having to switch sources. My wife "requires" a setup with one button that turns everything on and then a channel changer. Having to switch from OTA to Amazon Prime to whatever we might choose is not going to happen in my house.
If she presses the All On button and one device does not come on (e.g. it was on and is now off), she does not know what to do. Adding the complexity of finding the source selection page and then knowing what source to choose is beyond her capacity.
Unless Alexa or some other device would let her say, "Turn on NCIS" and everything she needs turns on regardless of source, I am pretty much locked into Spectrum's setup.

They need to have at least 30K satellites for full coverage?
That's to meet the proposed goal but one geosynchronous bird over the San Francisco/East Bay will tide me over until NY, NY, FL etc., get theirs.
What am I saying... Once there's one over me, I'm not all that concerned about anybody else.

Don, PLEX offers OTA integration. That’s the closest thing to date.
