Looking for a second USB-c charger. I have an Apple 61w charger that came with my 2020 13" MBP. Would like to have another either for my bag or desk so I don't have to always unplug and take the charger with me.
I see that Anker has a 60w for about half the price ($35) of the Apple one.
Worth going third party? Or should I just stick with Apple?

Last one I bought was second hand off of eBay. Works great, 1/3 price.

Can’t go wrong with Anker.

I've seen some blown Thunderbolt ports which may have been from using 3rd party chargers/cables. (In the 15-inch and 16-inch, those may be repairable without a full logic board swap. Potentially big bucks on a 13-inch.)
I suspect that they're sparking when the Mac is plugged into the cable/adapter before the adapter is plugged into wall-power. Not a lot of evidence behind this. Might be something else altogether, perhaps manufacturing defects by Apple.
Just to be on the safe side, I suggest plugging in the adapter to wall-power before plugging the power-cord into the Mac.
