Bingo. In fact, local police would be better off without some of the "help" they get from federal agencies - like all the military gear so they can pretend to be in Fallujah.

Of course it's political. Everything Trump and Barr do is to further his re-election efforts. That doesn't mean there is no harm intended.

If you've been paying attention to what this administration has tried to do to West coast states, beginning January 2017, and how many times those states have had to sue Trump to stop him from harming them, you take this and all their threats seriously. Thank goodness for state AGs like Bob Ferguson who don't just say "oh let's just ignore this, it's just political." WA, OR and CA would be f@cked if they had taken that attitude towards this administration instead of fighting like hell.

This is the administration that took toddlers out of mother's arms and put them in cages. It's past time to stop acting like they are not the real threat that they are.

Yes, the thought of Trump's re-election is terrifying. Hearing now about how and Barr intimidated Mueller out of a thorough investigation - Trump is a new animal for Americans, a new threat to our national immune system and we've been largely helpless to him and his flouting of our laws and Constitution.

Voting him out in huge numbers is all we've got.
