Anytime immigration is involved, it’s a safe bet Republicans effed it up a huge way, with anyone and everyone paying the price.
The Republicans are replaying their game but now Hispanics

So, it's OK to do human trafficking if you are a Republican governor (FL or TX or ...)?
I thought it was a Federal felony to forcibly relocate people for immoral purposes, but IOKIYAR ? Well, the steaming pile of dog poo that is running the state has really scored big. Grrrrr.

One aspect of this that has been missed is that the Venezuelans DeSantis shipped around were fleeing a communist country, which is kind of a hallowed activity in Florida:
Local Venezuelan leaders and other immigration advocates gathered in Doral where they denounced what they call DeSantis' blatant disregard for human life and the lies he told to the Cuban and Venezuelan communities. They point to a September 7th press conference in Miami where they said he promised that neither Cubans nor Venezuelans would be sent out of the state. Well, sometimes you gotta break some eggs to own the libs, amirite? And again: Taryn Fenske, the governor's spokesperson, told Fox News Digital that the planes were part of the state's relocation program to "transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations." Unless these refugees had lost their cases in court, or had overstayed visas, they weren’t illegal.

But he did misappropriate state funds. Let him take it out of his campaign war chest.
