confused about ibook video connector

Yeah, the other is Mini DVI I suppose... it's nearly identical and not to be confused for sure.

I think the 12" Powerbooks cam with both--I am not sure, but I seem to remember that the 867 was VGA and the 1 GHz and later were DVI

Ken, maybe you can help me figure this out once and for all.

My 12" PB came with both a Mini x to DVI and to VGA. However, the mini end of the adapter would not plug into an iBook 800 I had. I think they call the adapters I have Mini DVI to VGA and Mini DVI to DVI. That's what Apple has on their site... ahhh, I found it, he needs the "Apple VGA Display Adapter." This is "Mini VGA" to VGA.
