I did call him, but got his voicemail and I've not heard from him since.
I ended up calling the regular Apple support # and speaking to a new tech support person, who found the info that they had just received the FedEx tag # and that my replacement would be shipped, "whenever."
Except that after a year of hassle, I finally got a Product Specialist who was willing to replace my G5, Apple's service has sucked.
