... the problem seems to be mechanical-- there's a plastic door catch which is getting stuck, making it nearly impossible to open the front of the printer in order to get the toner cartridge out, and when you close it, it doesn't go back all the way, so that the printer makes horrible grinding noises and won't print anything.
I actually have two of these printers, and really like them, so I'd be tempted to get another or at least something with which the consumables are all compatible (since I'll have leftover toners and drums, etc.).
Anyone seen any especially good deals recently? (These ones were $120 plus shipping, after the $150 refurb deal from Staples, less a coupon.) It seems the MFC-7820N itself is now discontinued...
