So it's all over?
They have 75 residents, do they close the polls early?

I think the polls open, everyone votes at once, then the polls close.

Interesting, I thought the poll closing times were regulated.

Well, once you know that all registered voters have voted...what's it matter? :-)

Dixville Notch, a village in New Hampshire's northeast corner, will begin voting at the stroke of 12 a.m. ET Tuesday, and the ballots won't take long to tally: Dixville Notch only has about 20 registered voters. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/03/d...=hpmostpop

It seems highly unfair for McCain. I think most of his supporters are asleep right now. Around here the over 80 crowd is in bed by 7:30 pm and up at 5 am to power walk. They'd entirely miss the voting action in Dixville Notch.
On the flip side, how many Obama supporters would make it out to vote if the polls opened at 7 am and closed at 7:30 am? Those stoner kids don't even roll out of bed until after noon!

Wow, 21 registered voters. You could really make some enemies in that small town if you chose to wait to vote until 7 pm today!
