That was just one of the things I had in mind when I became the only female (so far) to answer that way. I was able to think of quite a few examples.
And my question would be: "What does gender have to do with installing a HDD?"
edit - Unless it's those sometimes #@$%# tiny screws that I can't pick up much less rotate so the thread is down with my paws. Small hands and slender fingers would be a godsend in those cases.

being a guy raised by a single mom, I am shocked by how incompetent a lot of my fellow males are around the house.
just because I CAN fix dinner, do laundry, etc, does not mean I cannot also install hard wood flooring, etc., to finish a basement.
the only drawback is that my two kids (son and daughter) have to explain our culture's gender-specific view to their still ignorant father...
