Favorite "stealth" everyday luxury item?

I think it should be a law that states that thong and any variation of any word that has "crust" as part of it should be outlawed!!

Well, since you mentioned "stealth" -- in recent years, it'd have to be my '93 Dodge Stealth that I used to own. I just loved that batmobile; sometimes I still regret selling it. Although it certainly was not a luxury item, it was only the base model. But still very cool and kind of accentuated my love of unique items since they're a relative rarity.

Nowadays, it's probably my wedding ring though that is plainly visible. It gives me pride and makes me count my blessings to know I am married to a[nother] simply wonderful, beautiful woman. Plus the ring itself is kind of cool...it is half Ti, half Au.

Nothing stealthy and small, except for my platinum wedding band. It looks like silver when it has not been polished in a while. When we picked them up in 1999, we paid $500 and $280 for our bands; currently, the rings are $2000 and $900.

In my car, I have a Pioneer Premier deck, amp and speakers, and if I take off the faceplate to store in the glovebox, you can see none of it when I park.

The Titanium Spork in my lunch is probably not what most would consider a "luxury"... but I'm cheap.
I don't "do" luxury on a daily basis.

i guess, as a serious answer, 80 GB iPod.

essential for my long drives to & from work. always hidden when not in use.

BTW, David Sedaris' When You Are Engulfed in Flames is in my current rotation. funny, laugh-out-loud at times.

My iPhone. Also my keychain(search) not expensive but it makes me feel cool. And my shoes; Black Puma Speedcats.

I am with Paul F, a titanium utensil set in my locker at work. Feels better than throwing away plastic utensils on a regular basis.
