3 calls for backup at Benghazi denied
#1
Requests by CIA for military backup DURING the attack at Benghazi were denied.

There is also a report that Hillary requested additional security at Benghazi PRIOR to 9/11/12, but she was turned down. I'm not clear who turned down her requests, but the one report I saw suggests it was Obama. I'm still researching this story.

"Researching"? I do not think that means what you think it means.

The claim that Hillary called for more security before 9/11/12 comes from this report in the Examiner. I haven't found a second source on this, but it may be too early. The MSM is always slow to pick up this kind of story, but, if true, they will have to report it eventually.

Fox is now reporting this, citing the Examiner

The record is quite clear that the ambassador requested additional security.

But: The requests were for security in TRIPOLI.

Are we calling Ed Klein a 'journalist' now? No names sources, not even an anonymously ID'd source. Pure drivel.

No comment on the denial of backup DURING. The attack? I'd hate to think that our people sat back in Washington and watched our guys being killed on live feed.

You don't hate to think that at all. I can practically see the drool coming out of your mouth.

From Fox:
"There's a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here," Panetta said Thursday. "But the basic principle here ... is that you don't deploy forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on."

I'm sorry, swampy, but you are less qualified to make this call than the SecDef.
