A week out; have you voted...

Given Big Sandy's effect on many areas, it seems even more prudent to have voted early.

Did you?

I finally got my butt in gear, filled out my ballot, and turned it in today. And I got a handful of "I Voted" stickers too...

We can vote early only for the following 5 reasons:

* age 60 years old or older
* unable to vote without assistance at the polls
* expecting to be out of town on election day
* in jail awaiting arraignment or trial
* unable to attend the polls due to religious reasons
* appointed to work as an election inspector in a precinct outside of your precinct of residence.

I haven't voted early. I can't. (Unless I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster and It tells me to not vote in person on the 1st Tuesday of November.)

Sorry to hear that, early voting has been going on for weeks around here with NO questions asked.

I get the mail in ballot because they closed my polling site.

fortunately GA allows advance voting for any reason. my son and i first tried last Friday but the line was MUCH longer than i expected. we finally got it done early monday morning. though it was inconvenient it was heartening to see a strong turnout.

I could walk 20 minutes to stand in a 2-hour line, or wait until November 6 and walk 1/2 block to stand in very likely no line at all. I'm waiting!

We went on Saturday but the line was huge!

We'll go maybe Thursday night, I want my 18 year old daughter to vote with us. Don't want some Romney poll watching nazi to scare her off.

Another person in a state with relatively restrictive rules on early voting, so I will not be voting until next Tuesday.
