I was looking for a new battery for my laptop here:

I've still been searching around. I finally opted to purchase one from Best Buy because 1) it was the same price as anywhere else and 2) I can pick it up at the store.
While I was searching HP's website I found that there is a program that HP provides that will test your battery. I downloaded and ran the program. It said what I already new, but it also said "you're battery may be covered by warranty still, click here". I was dropped into HP's website and entered into a chat session. I experienced one of the most painless warranty service sessions ever. They're replacing the battery under warranty. Cool. Unfortunately, I'll still have to pay for the other battery that I just bought, but now I'll have 2 instead of just 1. I don't really have much experience with HP warranty service except with printers. That is torture. My experience just now was the exact opposite.
