Derek Chauvin will be sentenced this afternoon.

I agree. Though it was less than what the Floyd family or prosecutors asked for. Since it is incredibly rare for a police officer to be held accountable at all for murdering a civilian, I am relieved that the judge imposed a harsher sentence.

To me, it almost sounded as if she was trying to claim he was still innocent of the crime. Very delusional.

And the lack of remorse, struck me as a form of pathological narcissism, an inability to think of anyone else's feelings or considerations but one's own.
