My coding skills are rusty, but I can refresh them as I go. I'd like to find an app that allows easy access to code view as well as a reasonable preview within the application. I would assume they all let you quickly preview in various browsers.
The last time I did much web stuff, I used GoLive to manage the site and its components, with the initial layouts and style sheets worked out in TextWrangler, previewed in browsers, and then brought into GoLive. When I update our group's site in GoLive (in a VM), I do most of the futzing with content in code view, but I like having some things available via a click on a tool. Image insertion, etc. are dead easy in GoLive.
I am considering trying to rebuild our site a bit to make it work better on more devices. There are some basic changes that would not be difficult to make, and that would at least make the site easier to use on tablets, without going for all-out responsive.
I am NOT interested in something that is completely drag-and-drop, and won't let you get at the source code within the application.
Nor will I consider Dreamweaver (subscription). Right now, I'm experimenting a little with Blue Griffon and Tumult Whisk.
