My 3yo Whirlpool model WDT710PAHZ dishwasher has stopped working… no water spraying from the spray arms.
I have a service tech coming on Monday to diagnose the trouble which I believe is a failed pump.
Parts are about $120 if this is the problem and I’m sure I am capable of doing the work but… If the diagnosis is something more I will likely be looking to replace the machine with something new.
I’m currently leaning towards Bosch but please let me hear your thoughts.

I’ve had good luck with my Bosch. A lot quieter than the one I replaced.

If you wind up getting a new DW, I recommend one with a top silverware rack. Very handy! So far, we’ve been happy with our LG.

Bosch. We just did a comprehensive review for our new house. Bosch with the new drying system looks like the clear winner and will be what we buy if the 10 year old Samsung in our new place sucks.

I just bought (this week) a Bosch 800 series. Costco has a special on the one with a handle, HD has a sale on the one with the recessed handle/pocket. Best Buy has a clearance on last year’s model with handle. I bought an open box one for $700.

Spent $700 on a GE in February. It’s been serviced repeatedly already for a door that won’t stay shut. First “it’s the latch,” then “it’s the hinges,” and now “it’s your house.” That last one is one heck of a cop-out.
I can’t recommend GE or their service department.

We've loved the Bosch 500 (?) series that we got 1.5 years ago to replace a 40 year old GE model. Super quiet, does a great job. Can't imagine it will last 40 years like the last one, but really liking it at the moment.
