Study: $45 trillion needed to combat warming
#31
[quote Lux Interior][quote freeradical]This obsession with global warming is puzzling.
What obsession? Is it like the obsession with evolution? If observing the natural world and drawing conclusions based on the data is an "obsession" so be it.

I prefer to call it "Science".
Freeradical wondered about the obsession with global warming. Lux said there is no "obsession", only "Science". I submitted (and you guys essentially admitted) there is more to the global warming thing than "science". There is a political and a business aspect too. That is the part I (and many others) object to. Green candidates, green cigarettes, green dog food. Heck, green cars? Come on! Same goes for religion. Christian music, christian refrigerators, christian plungers. Good Lord. kj.

Well, if you're going to reject GW because someone wants to make a buck off the hype, then that's too bad. It doesn't change that it exists and that it is a problem. The people who reject it for these reasons are the ones who do not want to conserve. They don't want to give up their Hummer. If it wasn't for one reason, it would be for another.

And the same goes for religion, yes, only for a much longer time and with much more money to be made.

I never said I rejected GW. I hate the hype. It causes people to throw the legit out along with the b.s. kj.
